residence at Mills College in Oakland, California. She
talks about her initial move to the San Francisco Bay
Area in the 1950s and her development as a composer
living in California through to the 1980s. The interview
concludes with a brief discussion of Oliveros
composition The Wheel of Time for string quartet
and computer generated tape.
